Low-pitch roofs need more flashing cover, more care at side laps, and a drainage check. Confirm as-laid pitch after deflection.

Cladding pitch is not design pitch

NZMRM CoP 7.1.1A: tabulated minimums are roof cladding pitch, not the building-design roof pitch. Wide purlin or portal spacing can leave the as-laid pitch below the table even when the drawings say otherwise.

FAQ

Is T-Rib the same roll as Hi Five?

They share the CoP row: about 27 mm, 3°, check after 40 m. Metalcraft lists 760 mm cover. Dimond Hi Five lists 765 mm. Do not mix the two on one roof.

Can the T-Rib minimum go above 3°?

Metalcraft says minimum pitch can increase with sheet length. Check their information sheet before a long run.
