Cladding pitch is the CoP / manufacturer table for the sheet as laid. Design pitch is framing. They can disagree after deflection. This site fails 16.5 mm corrugate below 8°. Pre-order questions: pitch before you order.
The library row
| Family | Min cladding pitch | Check run |
|---|---|---|
| 16.5 mm corrugate | 8° | 15 m |
| Six Rib ~20 mm | 4° | 20 m |
| Hi Five / T-Rib ~27 mm | 3° | 40 m |
| Secret-fix tray ~30 mm | 3° (named pan may differ) | 60 m |
Min pitch corrugate is the 8° page. Low-pitch profiles is the step down.
How to check one plane
- Measure or calculate pitch in degrees on that plane (pitch calculator).
- Pick the named profile; read min pitch and extras (Metalcraft 9° past 30 m).
- If as-laid < table: change product or geometry. Extra waste and sealant are not a method.
- If as-laid ≥ table: still check run length and Extra High flashings.
A 6° garage that “always had corrugate” still needs a deeper trapezoidal, tray, or a re-pitch. Open the takeoff at that pitch and read the min-pitch flag. NZMRM CoP 7.1.1A and the product sheet win.
