Low-pitch roofs need more flashing cover, more care at side laps, and a drainage check. Confirm as-laid pitch after deflection.

Cladding pitch is not design pitch

NZMRM CoP 7.1.1A: tabulated minimums are roof cladding pitch, not the building-design roof pitch. Wide purlin or portal spacing can leave the as-laid pitch below the table even when the drawings say otherwise.

How does Metalcraft corrugate differ from Dimond?

Metalcraft lists 760 mm cover. Dimond lists 762 mm. Both are 851 mm overall and 8° on the CoP 16.5 mm row.

When does Metalcraft require 9°?

Sheet lengths over 30 m and under 50 m, at rainfall up to 100 mm/hr. Lengths up to 30 m stay at 8° after deflection.
